Good morning CUSD #187 family,
Team Armstead Community Center, in partnership with The Scholarship Foundation of St. Louis, will be hosting a Preparing for College Information Session on Monday, October 19, 2026, from 4:00–5:00 p.m. in Classroom 4 at 1801 Camp Jackson Road, Cahokia Heights, Illinois.
This event is open to students planning to attend college and their parents. Attendees will learn about free college advising services, scholarships, interest-free loans, and other resources to help make college more affordable.
We've attached the flyer and would appreciate your help spreading the word by sharing it with students, parents, and others who may benefit.

Attention all CUSD #187 sports fans!!!!
Friday, October 30, 2026, at Team Armstead Community Center, 1801 Camp Jackson Road, Cahokia Heights, Illinois. We will begin promptly at 4:00 p.m. and conclude at 7:00 p.m.
Upon arrival, please proceed to the west parking lot, where the Trunk or Treat event will take place.
Participants bringing vehicles should arrive between 2:30 and 3:15 p.m. to park and set up. For everyone’s safety, please keep participating vehicles parked until the event concludes at 7:00 p.m. Please bring individually wrapped candy to distribute.
Participants will also have an opportunity to come inside the center and enjoy games in our game room.
If you are donating candy, please contact me to coordinate delivery before the event.
Thank you for helping us create a safe, fun, and welcoming evening for our young people and families.
