PreK students at Lalumier and Maplewood participated in a ribbon cutting ceremony for their new playgrounds! This was made possible with the use of Preschool for All and Preschool for All Expansion grant funds. A special thank you to Mr. McCall and Mrs. Mitchell for approving the project and to Mr. Culley for all of his hard work and dedication in making it happen.

The St. Louis Blues were on their way to Lalumier last week. On Monday, September 16th they arrived to teach a one week P.E. unit for our 1st through 3rd graders. This program has been very successful for introducing the sport of hockey to St. Louis area youth at no cost to selected schools. They brought all of the equipment for the school to keep for future instruction and a Blues Street Team banner for display. Lalumier was selected above many other schools who applied for this opportunity this year. We are thankful to the Blues for their dedication to improving the lives of our students by opening another door to future opportunities in one of the fastest growing games in America.
